REPLYRob - 01 March 2010 17:49:45We will need to check who is available to lead this weekend - should be enough around, but several of the regulars are out on 4* training session all weekend.
If you are able to help with leading this weekend, can you please put a reply to this post.

REPLYSteve & Amy - 03 March 2010 18:25:00hey guys
Me and dad are up for saturday, if its going ahead, could do with more info on directions etc, because well probably go straight from home! (Ludlow)
Thanks
REPLYCakey - 03 March 2010 18:46:29Greetings,
Unless it rains (which is highly unlikely as the UK is seemingly the driest place on earth) I will be at the Trywern. I'll probably head straight there for a 09:00 start and mess around on the top section and meet you guys at the cafe (depending on your plan of action).
There is a slalom competition on the graveyard featuring some top paddlers so that should be worth a look!
Cakey
REPLYJohn Teuwen - 03 March 2010 19:26:21Can you confirm if you are going on Satuarday for a paddle? Look forward to going again. John

REPLYBill - 03 March 2010 19:33:15Might be a good idea to :-
1. Setup a shuttle at Bala.
2. All the group to warm up below the chipper (Gd1), a great location to sharpen your breaking in and out skills.
3. Progress to the pre-graveyard for further skills practice and river running on Gd2.
4. Portage to Chapel via the cafe for luncheon.
5. Run the lower to Bala.
Sounds like a good plan ...?
Bill
REPLYSteve D - 03 March 2010 19:58:22Sounds like a plan to me Bill

REPLYEric - 04 March 2010 08:30:26Hi all,
The paddle is this Saturday (not Sunday).
For those who need equipment, I will be at the club at 8:00am ready for a prompt 8:15 getaway.
Steph, had a thing abvout you going and providing you don't mind the odd swim, you should be OK to go. I will put someone with you to guide you down.
See you at the club on Saturday.
