Like ur idea. Also put the river reports up there. Either linked back to the message board. Or link the message board reoort back to the blog. (Tgat requiresless admin) as any one can write tge report on tge message board... And link it on the blog. So when the report drops diwn the list of messages. It can still be accessible easly on the blog.
